Changelog
Changelog 1.0.7:
- Added in some new building blocks, such as: Glowroot Doors, Glowroot Ladders, Glowroot Vent / Lit Vent Ducts, Glowroot Panels, Cut Glowroot (with stairs and slabs,) and two secret blocks only with /give, the Glowroot Spawner and Chiseled Glowroot Pillar.
- Added in Glowroot Vents (trapdoors.)
- Renamed previous Pure Chrysoprase to Unpure Chyrsoprase, and added a new Pure Chrysoprase block in replacement.
- Added four new particles: Glowroot Light Pop, Glowroot Ink, Squid Ink, and Glowroot Flame.
- Made Glowroot Torches no longer emit sounds, and now emit flame particles.
- Added two new throwable projectiles, Glow Ink Balloons and Ink Balloons. Glow Ink Balloons deal long duration periods of dazzling, but no damage. Ink Balloons give blindness upon impact, with no damage.
- Added in edible Squid Tentacles. Dropped from Squids.
- Made it so Cooked Glow Squid Tentacles are now just Cooked Squid Tentacles.
- Added 4 new variations for the emitter flask - Glowing, Dazzling, Growth, and Darkness. All recipes can be found via Glowroot Machine.
- Added in a new functional block, the Darkness Detector. It will detect the amount of light in the room, and emit redstone based on how much less of it there is.
- Added in the Laser Emitter, still not functional and only through /give.
- Added in Glowroot Music Disc - root. It current just plays the biome's ambient music, but it will get a full fletched track later.
- Regular zombies can now transform into Glowrooted zombies if they stand on Glowrooted blocks for a long period of time. Some blocks will make them convert faster than others.
- Added the Glowroot Core, a new block that acts as a special crafting ingredient.
- Fixed an issue where blocks were able to be placed inside of the top portion of a Glowroot Locker.
- Glowroot Tools are now craftable in a Glowroot Machine, (sword, pickaxe, drill, and shovel.)
- The Glowroot Drill's texture was flipped over to be more consistent in the main hand. This is the same for the drill head aswell.
- Added in a secret new mob only through /summon.
- The Drill's functionality has been changed. It now will increase in mining speed consistent to the amount of blocks you mine with it. It increases from 1x speed to 2x speed.
- Changed the generation of Node structures to be more common and less glitchy.
- Removed Geodes, (but kept in Glowrooted Basalt and Calcite for now, only through /give.) Replaced with new small crystal chunk structures that spawn within the biome.
- Added in Glowroot variations of every vanilla ore. Includes: Coal, Emerald, Iron, Copper, Lapis, Redstone, Diamond and Gold. Emerald and Coal have higher spawn rates in the biome. All ores must be mined with an iron pickaxe.
- Added a new advancement, Loot Bug.
- Gave the hermit a official AI! They now can pick you up with their claws on their head. Shift to escape from their grasp. They also got a small remodel.
- Changed some of the advancement's descriptions and texts.
- Added a new painting, Into The Core.
- Added a new command that many have requested, /glowrootinfo! Use the command in order to get a nice long list that gives a nice general explanation on the mod's features and content. This is only temporary until a guide book is finally implemented.
- Added a new gamerule that many have requested, /gamerule dazzledopacity! Use this command in order to make the dazzling effect more transparent upon impact. Increasing the number makes it more transparent.
- Added in tons of new recipes for all previous and new items. Changed some previous ones, as well.
- Finally added in the Glowroot Engine as an official item, and with a fresh animated texture.
- Removed Artificial Rune Blocks, now all regular rune blocks can activate a functional block from any side! This doesn't work for most emitter and detector blocks, however, and they still only function if placed under each other.
- Made it so the Glowroot Golem Drill variant has increased mining range if given Chrysoprase dust.
- Chrysoprase Crystal blocks can now be mined with a iron pickaxe instead of requiring a Glowroot pickaxe.
- Fixed an issue where Quadcopters would immensely lag the game if it had two targets in the same area.
- Changed the way squid dazzling effect works. The overlay now pulsates, and it limits at a certain transparency to prevent pure blindness. Hope this helps!
- Temporarily (or maybe, permanently,) removed Glowfish from the game. They can still be spawned in, and their food items with /give. They no longer spawn, however.
- Added tooltips for the Glowroot Machine gui for every recipe.
- Fixed a bug with the Glowroot Visor's overlay being funky and the light-reading circle being off-centered.
- Gave Glowbangs a new holding style when held in the main hand, so they aren't incredibly large.
- Changed some block's textures, only slightly, but still tinkered.
- Made Glow detectors and Glow Emitters less laggy upon usage.
- Increased cave biome spawn rates slightly.
- You can now shift-right click a Node to read how much glowroot power is within it before the next crystal.

- New Glowroot Machine screen.
- Increased the resistance of Glowroot Artificial Blocks due to them being used for future structures.

- Made it so the sound emitted and drop of the Glowbang from the quadcopter line up slightly more properly.
- Changed the sound subtitle for Glowroot Quadcopter attacking.
- Changed sounds for nodes.
