Most packs that restore roses replace poppies, and most use the old texture. This one has new textures, based on the original rose texture from 1.7 and the Rose Bush's texture, and does not completely replace poppies, instead just has a 50/50 chance of being a poppy or rose! There is a rarer version of the rose too, and veterans might already know what i'm talking about...
