Beauty is a modpack designed to make the world of Minecraft more engaging and beautiful to look at. From new cooking methods to an entirely new dimension based on the ring of a gas giant, Beauty was made with the vision of allowing players to play modded Minecraft without the pain of ugly machinery, misaligned biomes, or horrible world gen.
Environmental Changes
New Terrain
With help from Terralith, Continents, and Tectonic, Minecraft's Overworld has never looked more stunning with mountain ranges spanning across large islands and beautiful landscapes, all split by a large ocean.
New and Refurbished Mobs
Creeper Overhaul and Enderman Overhaul have proven successful at helping diversify the hostile ecosystem that was once bland (besides the occasional husk, drowned, or stray). On top of this, the once empty ocean has been filled with life to increase interest in diving in. More has been added, however... I thought I'd keep some secrets to make this more interesting to explore.
Seasons
Fabric Seasons has brought multiple different climates upon the Minecraft world. All seasons Summer, Spring, Winter, and Autumn (or fall D:<) are now present and change throughout the Minecraft days affecting crop growth, foliage colour, and temperatures across biomes.
Survival Changes
Temperature
With the introduction of seasons and changing temperatures, it seemed right to add new temperature meters for the player. Now you will have to worry about the season and biome you are in to avoid overheating or freezing.
Combat Revamped
Better Combat and Simply Swords are a great combination to completely enhance and overhaul the relatively lackluster combat system. With tons of new weapon types as well as animations and different types of attacks, every player will have their own way to play.
Food and Farming
Farming
With several new crops that can be found in villages and in the wild, even the Farmers among you will see some new content to enjoy within the modpack of Beauty. Do remember, the crops will grow at different speeds during different seasons, so make sure to keep up with your crops so you don't run out of food.
Cooking
Not only does Farmer's Delight add new crops, it also adds new food, recipes, and new ways to cook. No longer are you bound by the cube that is known as a furnace, now you can cook on stoves, in pots, and so much more.
Other Worlds
The Ring of Eden
Eden Ring adds an astonishingly beautiful dimension based on the surrounding ring of the planet Eden, a giant blue gas giant. Experience floaty gravity, electrifying brain trees, floating water orbs, and so much more in this amazing dimension.
Nether and End Overhaul
The Nether and End, even after being updated, have always felt barren and not following their potential. So with the help of Better Nether and Amplified Nether, the new 256 block tall nether is filled with many new biomes, hostile mobs, and structures to fill the barren hellscape whilst maintaining its fear and hostile image.
Similarly to the Nether, Better End and Nullscape have been included to further improve the barren End islands and add some more beauty and colour for what is the end of the game. No longer is your reward for beating the final boss a barren, white, empty landscape of floating islands with occasional purple, but now you can enjoy the views that come with finishing Minecraft.
Having Fun
Create Machinery
And for those who just want to automate or mess around, the Create mod, and it's additions, were added to allow for everyone to have fun. No longer will you have ugly nuclear reactors sitting next to your farm or large scale mob grinders right in your base. Now you can use one of the most visually pleasing automation mods to create your own factories without ruining the Minecraft visual style.
There is also an additional modpack download which provides you with extra recipes such as getting andesite, diorite, and granite from cobblestone generators on top of bedrock, just in case you want the extra opportunity for material access. (Only reason its not one pack is because some people have expressed that they think it wouldn't be fun for them so yeah :P)
